The HCA Employee Safety department has partnered with Hazsoft as the preferred vendor for Safety Data Sheet mangagment. We strongly believe the Hazsoft system is a tool that will help our facilities achieve a higher degree of compliance, and one that will actually make your job easier.
Under the terms of the agreement with Hazsoft, HCA facilities can subscribe to the system at a discounted cost and will have immediate access to the master SDS database developed by Hazsoft for HCA. This also covers the ongoing management and support of all of your SDSs, including those for products purchased off-contract.
The Hazsoft application resides on Hazsoft's server and will be accessed locally through your web browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer or Google Chrome is recommended). The only thing you may have to install is the Acrobat Reader which is freely downloaded and distributed.
And, rest assured that with Hazsoft you will be covered with the recent (2012) updates to the Hazard Communication Standard.
